Testing different types of tools on Adobe Illustrator:

Example 1 / Starter: using the pen tool

How did this process of using Adobe Illustrator go in the end?

I believe that when I started testing out the pen tool for the first time this year, I would say it went good throughout the time of using the platform.

The reason why I believe that this process of using the pen tool in Adobe Illustrator is because even though I do not have any experience using this software, I do think that the pen tool was slightly easy to use for making simple shapes like the ones in the example above.

Example 2: using the shape tools (e.g., ellipse, line segment, rectangle, and star)

How did this process of using Adobe Illustrator go in the end?

This time, I have the feeling that I made this example a perfect piece of work. I feel like everything that was in this was exactly right on point with the human parts, the 5-pointed star, as well as the Pokeball drawn on the right hand of the created human.

Example 3: combining the shapes

How did this process of using Adobe Illustrator go in the end?

As for this final example, I think I have by far rushed this one as I wanted the chance to complete this as soon as possible. No other points to include, just made this a mess despite it being accurate in my eyes.

MEDIA PASSPORT A5 ADOBE ILLUSTRATOR CREATION:

How did this process of using Adobe Illustrator go in the end?

My creation of this simple A5 paper with tools such as the shape tools (mainly rectangle), the pen tool, the paintbrush tool, and the textbox tool went well.

By that, the colors/writing I used for the background, title, and decorations (the race flag + the laptop) were perfect and accurate in my eyes (e.g., the black and white squares) except for some of the paintbrush lines on the bottom of the computer.

However, while I continue the course, I still need some extra practice getting used to the platform and its additional tools (e.g., the rotate tool) for further lessons.

                                  Making patterns on Adobe Illustrator:

What did I do/use when creating this in Adobe Illustrator?

I made these short and simple pen tool line patterns using new tools. Those tools include the width tool, the warp tool, the scallop tool, and the wrinkle tool.

                                      Camera introduction L2 Media

DSLR: (also known by its full name digital single-lens reflex camera)

A DSLR camera is a type of digital camera that has access to both the optics and mechanisms of an actual single-lens reflex (what it stands for).

Alongside that, a DSLR comes with a solid-state image sensor which is a device used to adapt light into things called electrical signals.

Aperture:

An aperture is an opening part of a camera that has access to enter through a light that can pass through the camera while taking photographs.

Another thing about the aperture is that however the width of the open camera, the more light can reach through the camera's sensor.

Shutter speed:

Shutter speed is simply the words of what it sounds like. For example, the speed in shutter speed is the speed at which a camera's shutter uses the ability to both open and close.

Another example is about the shutter, the shutter is a type of curtain found on a camera. It is commonly found on the front of the camera's sensor that is always turned off until the click of a button to start shooting some photos/videos.

Depth of field:

Depth of field is classified as the distance of a taken photograph that is either in-between both the nearest and farthest area or sharp depending on the image size.

Exposure:

Exposure is the amount of brightening/darkening light that has access to everything that is in a photograph that has been shot.

Including that, exposure also has a total of 3 sturdy settings that can be used when practicing photography, they are Aperture, Shutter speed, and ISO.

ISO: (also known by its full name International Organisation for Standardization)

ISO/its full name is a commonly used photography term that refers to a camera's settings involving the use of an image sensor's light to an image, or as another meaning, has a similar definition to Exposure (shown above this text).

Photos of my PowerPoint slides:

Photographers chosen in my presentation:

1. Marc Aspland (my planned choice since googling him up)

2. Jeroen Luijit (as a secondary to further add more to my final product)
